I own a couple of impact drivers (what can I say, I really like tools) This is one of the first I bought and it's really a great driver. If you haven't used an impact driver you are in for a surprise. Running lag bolts into decks, long screws into tough wood has never been so easy. With the action of the impact driver everything you use it for just seems to melt into the wood. Even thought the Makita impact driver is 14v, It's totally different from the 14v Makita cordless drills.
