I’ve posted a couple of articles about Bamboo Flooring and some tips about Bamboo Floors. I’ve really started liking this type of hardwood floor.

I’m still trying to get set up so I can make these videos quickly and easily but it’s taking longer than I wanted it to.

Well, the software for billing, scheduling and estimating we use in our handyman business is ready to go. We’ve been using it for a while and really like it. It’s simple and does what we need very quickly.

I’m working on, and should have done, quite a few online calculators for your handyman business such as carpentry, concrete, drywall, painting, flooring and more. (these are all included in the new handyman billing software we are about to have ready as well)
I’ll post links to these as I get them done….

I’ve been thinking more and more about our handyman business and our customers.
We’ve been thinking about getting more and more people on a monthly maintenance program.
Don’t get me wrong, our regular business is good and we already have more than we can do.
What I’m thinking about is talking to those people that we do work for on a regular basis, make them a deal to do certain things each month or quarter on a regular schedule. (making sure flood lights are all working, swapping out a/c filters, etc, etc)

I have actually had a couple of people mention to me if we would be “on call” for them and their homes / businesses.

I had to write about these things. We were over at a friends house and they had a robot vacuum.
These things actually can detect if the carpet is still dirty and keep cleaning until it isn’t.
They charge themselves, put themselves up, etc. How cool is that?
